Week 7

Today, I learned a bit more about the first phase of the negotiation process. We even were separated into break-out rooms to organize our thoughts in this subtopic which really helped a lot. I'm not the type who loves to create or design things for my notes because I always think of it as a waste of time. However, it seemed different today as in it helps me a lot in understanding this phase and it indeed clearer than a plain note. I'm glad that we got the opportunity to create a mind map together instead of doing it alone because it certainly gives different impact.

Aside from this, we were also asked to prepare a few situations regarding neighbor's problems that can be used for negotiation case, since we'll be doing role play the very next week. Here's the situation that my group came up with.

ROOM 1

Scenario: a village meeting regarding cleanliness problems

​

1. Habits of neighbors throwing fresh garbage and leaving it for a long time until it stinks and annoys everyone.

2. Noise. Children's neighbor was loud.

3. Burn their waste in others' territory

4. Park their car in front other people house/property

5. Wild stray dog roaming

6. Pets/ animal feces or urine in neighbor's property

7. Make noisy party, gathering or hangout after 12 midnight

8. Loud music in the middle of the night

9. Domestic abuse/ violence at home
